Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SlipakDev collects when you visit this website or send a project request, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to reply to you and to improve the website.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Bohdan Slipak, an independent web developer doing business as “SlipakDev” (“we”, “us”, “our”). For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@example.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the order form or email us, we collect:
- your name and email address;
- phone or WhatsApp number (optional);
- project details: selected services, budget range and your message;
- any files or information you choose to share during our communication.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring URL and the time of your visit.
3. How we use your information
- to respond to your request and prepare an estimate or proposal;
- to communicate with you about your project and provide our services;
- to measure the performance of our website and advertising campaigns;
- to protect the website against spam and abuse;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing newsletters unless you explicitly ask for them.
4. Cookies & analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies from Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the effectiveness of our ads, for example whether an ad led to a submitted request. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you, such as:
- our hosting and email providers (to receive and store your request);
- messaging tools we use to get notified about new requests (e.g., Telegram);
- analytics and advertising providers (e.g., Google);
- designers on our team who work on your project, under confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
We keep project requests and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and provide our services, and generally no longer than 3 years after our last communication, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your rights & choices
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. Just email hello@example.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. Using advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out as described in Section 4 or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Visitors from the EU / UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data based on your consent (when you submit the form), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the website. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
11. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
